Maybe local motorcycle and auto repair shops have come up with a new idea to inflate their income. Pickups shovel tacks, nails and screws on well used thoroughfares in the dead of night.

We have had 7 punctures in 4 months compared with 1 in the ten years before.

There does not seem to be much one can do about it.

Changing from Bridgeston to more robust or run-flat tyres would cost about 17 k Baht.

Any ideas?
